IPC to BNS Section Crosswalk
India replaced the IPC, CrPC, and Evidence Act with the BNS, BNSS, and BSA on 1 July 2024. Old section numbers still show up everywhere, in FIRs, in conversation, in years of case law. This is a free, citation-checked table mapping 58 provisions between the two systems, no login, no product pitch.

What this is not. This is a reference table, not legal advice, and not a substitute for reading the actual Act. Deleted provisions are marked as such rather than silently dropped. If you find an error, the GitHub repo takes issues with a citation to India Code or an official source.
